Gridbus: A toolkit for service-oriented grid computing
This article describes Gridbus, an open-source framework that addresses application development, resource management, scheduling, and support of end-to-end quality-of-services (QoS) in the context of a distributed computational economy.
C3 Power Tools with C2G: A management tool that scales from clusters to the Grid
The C3 (Cluster Command Control) Power Tool suite is a command line tool set for use by both the system administrator and the general user. C2G (Cluster Control GUI) is a GUI framework that, through the use of modules, can interact with other tools.
The GRIDS software suite: Toward a national middleware infrastructure
The GRIDS software suite is part of the NSF's Middleware Initiative, and combines the best-of-breed software for grid computing environments. It includes the Globus Toolkit, Condor-G, the Network Weather Service and KX.509. This article gives an overview of the GRIDS suite, and how its various components interact in support of grid computing.
In this paper we introduce OptimalGrid, the "smart grid" project at the IBM Almaden Research Center. We designed OptimalGrid to manage grid computations of cellular automata and finite element model problems that pose interesting challenges to a grid system because of their inter-connected nature.
